BERGEN- At Landal Berger Duinen, Landal GreenParks’ newest vacation park, located on the coast near the North Holland villages of Bergen and Schoorl, the first guests have been welcomed into one of the 72 luxury vacation homes. With this, Landal adds a very attractive coastal destination to its existing 25 seaside vacation parks in the Netherlands.
The 72 luxury detached vacation homes come in 4-, 6- and 8-bed types. A few have deluxe or even extra luxurious wellness versions, including a lounge bath (including outdoor fireplace) and a thatched roof. The park has a reception building with a small mini-shop where souvenirs are sold and bicycles can be rented. Guests can call on the extensive amenities in the nearby villages of Schoorl and Bergen for further facilities.
There are plans to expand even further. Two parks are already being built along the Heerweg between Schoorl and Camperduin. The first will be on the Heereweg, between Hotel Jan van Scorel and vacation park Duynvoet. The plan is to establish the second park at the Oude Heereweg site.
Hidden in the special nature reserve of the Schoorl Dunes lies our brand new vacation park Landal Berger Duinen. The North Holland Dune region is the widest dune area in the Netherlands where beautiful bike rides and walks can be made. When staying at the park, you are surrounded by forests, heathland, dunes and beach. A paradise for nature lovers! This is where you really come to rest. Adrenaline seekers need not be bored either. Climb the 51-meter-high climbing dune or let the sand dust up as you mountain bike through the dunes. In total, the park has 72 detached accommodations. Go out together and visit the mystical artists’ village of Bergen. Visit the art market in Egmond aan Zee, grab a terrace at one of the cozy restaurants or shop in the cozy boutiques. Want to get a breath of fresh air on the coast? That too is possible in Egmond aan Zee. Within 15 minutes you are in the cozy cheese town of Alkmaar. So don’t forget to visit the traditional cheese market!
