Bunkermuseum
of Egmond in the dunes. Here you can learn about World War II and war history. The museum is a unique experience for visitors of all ages.

Egmond Brewery
is highly recommended for those interested in beer brewing. Tours and tastings are available. Other attractions include the foundations of the Slot op den Hoef, the Shell Cabinet, Egmond Abbey and the pinck.

Egmond aan den Hoef castle chapel (1922)

This chapel, dedicated to Saint Catherine, the patron saint of nobility, was built in 1229 next to Egmond Castle. In 1430, Lord John of Egmond (John with the Bubbles) had the chapel demolished and rebuilt.

A group of Egmonders thought it was time to erect a statue and since 1999 it stands at the main beach exit or "the Wharf. Jacob Glas, better known as Jaepie-Jaepie, the skipper of the rowing rescue boat.

The wooden boat is an initiative of association Dorpsbelangen Egmond 'Pearl' aan Zee'. The association wants to immortalize Egmond as the "Miffy Village" with the placement of the boat on the "Miffy by the Sea" plaza.
