Egmond is rich in historical attractions and cultural activities. Among these sights are the statues of the Derper Vrauwtje, Jaepie Jaepie, Joop Smit these statues are a wonderful reminder of the rich history. Also the Egmond Brewery is highly recommended for those interested in beer brewing. Tours and tastings are available. Other attractions include the foundations of the Slot op den Hoef, the Shell Cabinet, Egmond Abbey and the pinck.

Egmond aan den Hoef castle chapel (1922)

This chapel, dedicated to Saint Catherine, the patron saint of nobility, was built in 1229 next to Egmond Castle. In 1430, Lord John of Egmond (John with the Bubbles) had the chapel demolished and rebuilt.

“Miffy by the Sea” Square

The wooden boat is an initiative of association Dorpsbelangen Egmond 'Pearl' aan Zee'. The association wants to immortalize Egmond as the "Miffy Village" with the placement of the boat on the "Miffy by the Sea" plaza.

The Wimmenumer Mill

The Wimmenumer Mill is an indoor windmill built in 1774. It was used to drain the 85-acre Wimmenummer Polder.

The Egmonder Pinck (Bomschuit).
