Summer Sunday evening with poetry and music in Castle Chapel
‘Come tonight with stories’ is the theme for a series of summer evenings of music and poetry being held this summer in
the Final Chapel.
For two decades, the chapel was open for a project that became known as “Airy Lock.” Exactly the twentieth
music night in the year of 75 years of liberation, unfortunately could not take place last year.
Four evenings of poetry and music about freedom with a fifth evening as an encore.
It begins on July 11 with text by Ina Eilander and on the piano Wim Noteboom with vocals by Gerda Govers.
The other nights are July 25, Aug. 8, Aug. 22 and Aug. 29.
The musical evenings begin at 8 p.m., with the Final Chapel opening at 7:30 p.m.
