Last weekend, Sjef Kenniphaas captured how the beach houses and bathing cabins are reinstalled in Egmond aan Zee.
A beach cabin (or beach house) is a wooden cabin, placed on usually a wooden foundation, on the beach along the edge of the dunes. Booths are built in spring and taken down again in fall due to storms. It is used as a changing cubicle and a locked area for beach gear.
