We are a Transportation and Moving Company located in the heart of Schoorl.
Our goal is to serve you in the most professional, yet above all personal way possible.
Our family business
The company is currently run by (youngest son of Kees Bakker) Fred. The number of activities has also grown considerably in the meantime, our services currently include: package driving and food delivery, distribution to removals and storage of household effects.
We currently perform transportation for several major clients. The fleet consists of 7 different motor vehicles and a trailer. These can be used for all kinds of work.
Thus, we also have a special moving van whose side can be opened completely and, of course, a moving elevator.
History
Like every Family Business, we started very small. In 1898, the company was founded by Jan Bakker.
A bid service was established between Schoorl – Bergen and Alkmaar. This messenger service transported all kinds of vegetables with a horse-drawn cart.
In 1977, the company was taken over by (grandson) Kees Bakker. Meanwhile, the company’s activities had expanded to driving for various parcel services; several small trucks were purchased for this purpose.

Do you need to leave your current home but can’t move into your new one yet? Or You don’t want to take your household contents (completely) with you to your new home?

Then you’ve come to the right place at Bakker. We offer total storage for household effects at a competitive price. In our insulated warehouse, your belongings are stored in special dust-proof furniture containers.

For the delivery of your household effects we have 3 possibilities:
- You come to pick up or bring your household contents yourself.
- You rent a truck with a driver.
- You let us take care of the entire move.
Term
With us, there is no minimum or maximum term for storage. Easy, because if your renovation is delayed, or you can move into your new house earlier anyway, the storage can simply stay with us longer or shorter than the specified period. Even when you need something from your storage we don’t bother! You just give us a call and we’ll get it ready. For the different rates of picking up your household contents, please contact us.
