Hotel Golfzang is located near the central shopping street with a large parking lot on the plateau. Also nearby is the boathouse of the Royal Dutch Rescue Brigade. On the south side under a canopy has been built for years on the Pinck. This is a flat-bottomed fishing vessel as it was used for centuries in Egmond to take to the sea directly from the beach. It took years to turn a pile of logs into this beautiful authentic sailing ship. In the spring of 2007, the Pinck was christened. In good weather, the men sometimes go out sailing.
